Hi everyone!!! We are baaack! We just spent the last 9 days camping over in Montana and it was simply amazing. The scenic beauty is more than words can express. I will post more on those later.
So last week, I mentioned that with the upcoming school year, soccer season, and whatever else our busy lives bring us, we have started to enlist the kids with the meal planning and sometimes, meal making process. This worked great for when we were on our trip. Everyone loved what each other picked out, and with having 6 of us in the family, this will help with my new work schedule (started today and I couldn't be happier).
Here are the meals that have been picked and planned out for next week, with one repeat from last week since we never got a chance to make it.
Monday: Shredded Pork Enchilada's
Tuesday: Crock Pot: Honey Apple Pork Loin
Wednesday: Country Fried Chicken w/ biscuits and gravy and country bacon
Thursday: Crock Pot: Whole Chicken with lemon and garlic
Friday: Steak, baked potatoes and a green salad
Saturday: Dinner at a friend's house
Sunday: Grilled Salmon w/ zucchini from the garden and garden salad.
Our soccer season and practices start tonight for one, and the two girls tomorrow, so you may see a lot of slow cooker meals coming this fall.
