Glacier National Park

Hands down.

Everyone should put Glacier National Park on their bucket list.

It seriously has to be one of our beautiful country's best kept secrets.
We spent 9 days in the beautiful land of Montana.

Big Sky Country.

Cowboy Country, as my dad called it.

A place where you can ride your horse to the local country store to pick up a few groceries, or if you are in a hurry, just take your ATV and pop on in.

If we go missing...you'll know where to find us...just sayin'
We went to Montana with my in-laws and some friends of theirs.

One of the days that we were there, we took the kids bright and early in the morning for a 2.5 hour drive, in what we refer to as the country, but in Montana, they call the highway, to Glacier National Park.

Flat Head Lake, MT
Beauty.
Amazing.
Colorful.
Just love the beautiful colors of the Montana Rocks
God, Mother Nature and their Creatures.
Momma goat, just having a little lunch, in the middle of our hike
Baby goat, getting a little nibble near by Momma.
We took the West Entrance to the national park and drove the infamous Going To The Sun Road.

Do it.

It's totally, completely worth it.

And while you are in Glacier National Park, play the license plate game with your kids.   We saw everything from Hawaii (my oldest was so skeptical we wouldn't see that one) and Alaska to Maine, New York, Texas and many, many more.  I think we missed 4-5 states.  Oklahoma...where were you?

Back to your views, the pictures will do the talking.

Lake McDonald

When we got to the top of our hike, this is what I saw.
They were taking in the beauty surrounding them.

We were hiking to Hidden Lake, and the kids stopped and sat down when they got to this view.

Just soaking it all in.
Hidden Lake
It doesn't get much prettier than that.

What are some places you having been wanting to visit?  Do you have a travel bucket list?  I think Grand Canyon will be next for us.  :)
