Six Days Left?

Wrap, Wrap, Wrap!!!  Can you really believe that there is only 6 more days left till Christmas?   Are you done with all your gift making?  Gift buying?  Or are you just beginning?  Or somewhere in the middle?  Have you even started wrapping yet?  I, personally, am somewhere in the middle.  Just when I think I have everything done and taken care of, someone else pops into my mind and on the list they go.  After spending the evening wrapping gifts for the little ones, I am at least making a little head way.
Hope you are almost done with all your holiday prepping!

ORC: Week One - Built-Ins & Overthinking

 Well, here we are at week one of the One Room Challenge and I have officially wasted a full week overthinking my base cabinets.   I was so excited.  Ordered them online from The Home Depot, got curbside pick up.  Got them home and placed them in their new spots and instant buyers remorse.   What had I done?   I started sending pics to those closest to me and asking their opinions.  The icing on the cake was when the hubby got home and immediately said, "Holy smokes those things are HUGE!" I went on Instagram Stories and asked for your opinions, which was 50/50, so that didn't help at all....hahaha    I  then started using painters tape to fuel my vision.  I am such a visual person that I really need to see that what was currently in my home was not too large, cumbersome, bulky, and literally ruining my vision for built-ins.    I asked friends to check it out when they stopped by.  Friends!!!  It ...

Back to School....Back to Blogging

Hey, hey, hey....I can not believe it's been nearly 5 months since my last post! 5 months!   That's forever.  Nearly 1/2 of this year.  So, far, that is the entire length of my employment at my new job.  See where I'm going?  Lots have happened in 5 months.  Unfortunately, just not lots around the  house, like I had been hoping for.  I think I had to glorious idea in my head that I would be able to get about 3-4 posts, consisting of projects, crafts, recipes, what have you, up on the blog each week.  I really did.  And then....reality hit. And it hit hard.    Blogging takes a lot of time.  It's enough that the projects take time, but then to add blogging to it.  Wow, was I ever delusional.  I don't blog for income, I blog for friends and family, mostly those out of town, to see what has been happening in and around our family.  So why put that stress on myself? ...
