Dropping In...

Just dropping in a quick hello.  We've been super busy around here working on the yard, the house, birthday party and studying like mad!  The big kids had finals last week, so between work, and helping them study there was no time to blog.  Family first!  :)

I'll be back in a bit with more updates, photos, menu's and projects!!

 October 22, 2020 the day of devastation for our family.   The day Heaven gained the sweetest angel I ever did know.  Troy.  Our precious sweet Troy Boy went to be with Mom .  My brother-in-law was born with down's syndrome and then later in his toddler age was diagnosed with autism.   The love we have for him is like no other.  The world was so much brighter with Troy in it.  Troy was given to us here on earth to teach us.  We learned so much from him.  I will forever be grateful to Troy for teaching our kids about life.   Here's the thing, most people do not know how to act or treat others that are "different" from them.  A lot of people just stare.  Or, they say rude things about those with disabilities.  You know what?  God made each and every single one of us to be different.  The world would be a boring place if we were all the same , what kind of world would that be to live in?  ...

ORC: Week One - Built-Ins & Overthinking

 Well, here we are at week one of the One Room Challenge and I have officially wasted a full week overthinking my base cabinets.   I was so excited.  Ordered them online from The Home Depot, got curbside pick up.  Got them home and placed them in their new spots and instant buyers remorse.   What had I done?   I started sending pics to those closest to me and asking their opinions.  The icing on the cake was when the hubby got home and immediately said, "Holy smokes those things are HUGE!" I went on Instagram Stories and asked for your opinions, which was 50/50, so that didn't help at all....hahaha    I  then started using painters tape to fuel my vision.  I am such a visual person that I really need to see that what was currently in my home was not too large, cumbersome, bulky, and literally ruining my vision for built-ins.    I asked friends to check it out when they stopped by.  Friends!!!  It ...

I Needed To Find My Purpose

I've been on a mission lately to find my purpose. To find my joy . To find my passion . I was out of my routine.    I was in a funk. I was getting grumpy and I was getting irritated with my family. I was feeling lost in my day. I made a shift. What I was doing wasn't working and I knew I needed to think outside of the box. I started working out form home because my gym was closed.  I choose to join a community that I thought would be a bunch of people working out together and that would be it.  It ended up being the energy, encouragement and vibe that I never knew existed or that I was missing out on!!! Now I can not imagine my life without it and even the thought of going back to what I was doing before makes me so sad. I wanted more of this!!!  I decided to sign up as a coach to experience the mentorship and community and help OTHER women feel as good as I am feeling!!!  To help them experience this too, because it's not just for me.  It's for ANYONE...
